Silang, Cavite | CLEANWAY ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT SOLUTIONS INC. has received its ISO 22301:2019 covering the Collection of Hazardous Waste and Non-Hazardous Waste, Treatment Storage and Disposal of Hazardous Waste, Treatment of Non-Hazardous Waste. It has been issued with a multi-site certificate by the Bureau Veritas Certification.

Beyond paper, Cleanway’s standard on Business Continuity Management Systems has long been tested since it operates a network of environmental management plants in Cavite, Tarlac and Leyte. Physical, logistical and treatment support systems have been operating for almost a decade. This is a comprehensive and realistic assurance for all our partners.

The company satisfactorily passed the audit last 3 December 2025 and issued last 9 January 2026. This new international standard recognition is in addition to Cleanway’s three (3) existing ISO Certifications. Congratulations to all the hard work, diligence and continued compliance.

The 1st CEMSI Town Hall Meeting

CEMSI/CPI – The Environmental Division of the Herma Group met last Monday, 26 February for a town hall meeting concerning the directives and challenges for the upcoming year. The Cavite personnel, along with Tarlac and Leyte plants gathered that day while others participated via online conferences. From HR concerns to operations cases, employees were oriented on management’s thrusts for 2024. Special performance awards were given to those who excelled in their targets. They are recognized for their commitment and dedication to the Herma Group’s Corporate Core Values of Excellence, Enterprise, Integrity, Respect for the Individual, and Teamwork. All these for keeping the spirit of ONE CEMSI alive!

The 6th Philippine Solid and Hazardous Waste Management Conference

Cleanway Environmental Management Solutions, Inc. and Cleanaway Philippines, Inc. supported the 6th Philippine Solid and Hazardous Waste Management Conference and the 3rd International Conference on Circular-Economy at the Philippine Trade Training Center in Pasay City last December 1 to 2, 2022. The conference is an annual gathering of industry players, innovators, and researchers tackling innovations and best practices on waste management. This is the third time the environmental division of the Herma Group joined the event in support of the cause of the DENR, United Nations Environment Program, ASEAN UN/SEED-NET, Japan International Cooperation Agency, and the local conference convenor, Asia Society for Social Improvement and Sustainable Transformation.

Now ISO 45001 Certified

Silang, Cavite – The CEMSI Main Plant is now ISO 45001:2018 Certified in addition to its ISO 9001:2015 on Quality Management System and ISO 14001:2015 on Environmental Management System.

The ISO 45001:2018 focuses on stringent compliance to Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) Management System. The certification audit was conducted by Socotech Certification International Philippines.

Both Silang and Tarlac plants hold three ISO certifications. CEMSI is the first in hazwaste industry to have ISO certifications. This is a testament of our continued commitment to EXCELLENCE in high standards and an ever stronger assurance to our stakeholders.
