DENR Central and Regional Joint Visit at CPI

Isabel, Leyte – A joint visit conducted by the DENR Central office and the EMB Region VIII was held yesterday, 20 October at the Cleanaway Philippines, Inc. (CPI) treatment plant. Site inspection and improvements were part of the fruitful discussion led by the Hazardous Waste Management Section Chief of DENR Central, Engr. Geri-Geronimo R. Sañez. The new Cleanclave system is the first medical waste treatment facility in the Leyte-Samar region. It encourages medical facilities to opt for a more sustainable treatment program. CPI collaborates with national and regional agencies on how to further improve its operation and services in hazardous waste management.
