CPI PCO elected as PCAPI R8 Board
Ormoc City, Leyte | Marking a significant milestone in regional environmental stewardship, the Pollution Control Association of the Philippines, Inc. (PCAPI) Region VIII chapter officially inducted its newly elected Board of Trustees for Calendar Year 2026–2027 at Fan’s Hotel, Ormoc City.
The high-spirited event brought together key environmental leaders, regulatory officials, and industry experts dedicated to advancing sustainable practices and regulatory compliance across Eastern Visayas.
The solemn ceremony was graced by esteemed dignitaries from the Department of Environment and Natural Resources – Environmental Management Bureau (DENR-EMB), including DENR-EMB Region VIII Regional Director Alex D. Jimenez, Retired DENR-EMB Region VII Regional Director Maribel B. Munsayac, Retired DENR-EMB Region VIII Regional Director Reynaldo B. Barra, and Engr. Hennency G. Hayag. Their presence underscored the strong collaborative relationship between the regulatory sector and environmental practitioners in the region.
Reflecting a rich, cross-sectoral synergy, the newly inducted Board of Officers represents a coalition of leaders from premier industrial, academic, and governmental institutions. The incoming leadership team features key representatives from: Cleanaway Philippines Inc., Energy Development Corporation (EDC), IASCO, Palompon Institute of Technology (PIT), Local Government Unit (LGU) of Ormoc, and PHILPHOS among many others.
