Barangay Incentive on Efficient Segregation

Silang, Cavite- CEMSI collaborated with the Municipal Environmental and Natural Resources Office of Silang to raise awareness on solid waste management. CEMSI’s P50,000 cash donation aims to reintroduce and incentivize MENRO’s program on efficient barangay waste segregation. Two barangays were recognized for their environmental efforts. Barangay Biga I and Paligawan received P25,000 incentive from CEMSI to continue their efforts in plastic and tin can segregation. Solid waste management should start in our homes, and with the help of the Barangay Leaders, it can create greater progress to protect our environment.
