Supporting PCAPI IVA PCO General Assembly 2025
Alabang, Muntinlupa City – The Pollution Control Association of the Philippines (PCAPI) Region 4A Chapter and DENR – Environmental Management Bureau (EMB) CALABARZON Region has organized the PCO General Assembly (GA) and the 14th Biennial Convention last 9-10 October 2025 held at The Bellevue Hotel. The annual gather responds to pressing issues encountered in pollution control and management. Together with a team of experts the convention timely discusses the challenges and solutions with the theme: “Adapting to Change Together: Strategies for Environmental Polycrisis.”
This two-day convention was supoorted by the industry’s movers and shakers particularly in water and waste management. Cleanway Environmental Management Solutions, Inc. has been an institutional member of the association and one of the most trusted TSD companies in the region.
The convention provides an avenue for updates on environmental laws and regulations relevant to the practice of PCOs. This year, the theme covers definition of polycrisis in the context of environmental management and pollution control; presentation of the different aspects of environmental polycrises, particularly, on (1) planetary crises (climate change and biodiversity loss); (2) policy and/or governance changes; and (3) transformations from rapid growth of artificial intelligence (AI). Guest speakers further explores the interconnected nature of a polycrisis, and highlight their impact on sustainability and long-term resilience.
The event also recognizes PCOs and industries who exemplify outstanding work in resilience and sustainability, through PCAPI 4A’s Search and Awards for multiple categories: (1) Outstanding PCO Award, (2) Success Story Award, (3) Mother Nature Award; and (4) Stewardship Merit Award (new category!!). In 2017 and 2023, Cleanway has been recognized in its successful waste water handling.
