Now ISO 45001 Certified

Silang, Cavite – The CEMSI Main Plant is now ISO 45001:2018 Certified in addition to its ISO 9001:2015 on Quality Management System and ISO 14001:2015 on Environmental Management System.
The ISO 45001:2018 focuses on stringent compliance to Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) Management System. The certification audit was conducted by Socotech Certification International Philippines.
Both Silang and Tarlac plants hold three ISO certifications. CEMSI is the first in hazwaste industry to have ISO certifications. This is a testament of our continued commitment to EXCELLENCE in high standards and an ever stronger assurance to our stakeholders.

Cleanway Environmental Management Solutions, Inc. has successfully completed its surveillance audit in conformance to ISO International, Philippines. CEMSI’s Quality and Environmental Management System, also called Integrated Management System or IMS is established to protect all its workers and the environment where CEMSI is operating, and to comply with all relevant Quality and Environmental policies as well as all applicable and regulatory and statutory requirements.
This made CEMSI, once again, a highly dependable Total Waste Management Solutions provider with standard protocols and policies to deliver its hazardous waste treatment services in the country.

La Union Collection Center

CEMSI opens its first Collection Center in La Union Medical Center (LUMC) in Agoo, La Union last 30 September 2019 as part of its environmental mission to promote compliance among local hospitals. With the full support of its Governor, the Hon. Pacheco Ortega, LUMC has received the donated facility as storage for its biomedical wastes. A MOA Signing event has been witnessed by its local officials and district hospital representatives.

CEMSI opens its North Plant in barangay Cutcut II Capas, Tarlac with Capas Mayor Reynaldo Catacutan and Barangay Captain Edwin Macale as guests of honor. Local officials from varied departments of the LGU have attended the event. This is the newest CEMSI plant with an area of 2.9 hectares. With an aim to be a prime mover in waste management solutions, the plant will serve the industries and medical facilities in Central and Northern Luzon.

Organized in the second quarter of 2019, the Municipal Environmental Monitoring Team serves as a collective body with a common interest in preserving the environment of Barangay Maguyam. As a prime location for light and heavy industries, private sectors come together to propose and resolve issues concerning the environment.
